Do not allow a love that failed,

To shroud all your hopes and dreams,

It's merely a pause to catch your breath,

Journey forward to pursue other moon beams.

The words I love you can be so easily said,

When they slobber from the mouth of a fool,

Especially for a person who had longed to hear,

Those three words masquerading as jewels.

Torn ragged pieces of your heart will soon heal,

Throw past memories and hurt to the ground,

Do not give up and say I've had it with love,

For it was not love that you thought you had found.

You'll not find happiness if you continue to tread,

All the bridges that collapsed where you walked,

Do away with the voices that remain in your head,

From the day that your life ran amok.

Try looking at life as consisting of two columns,

With one saying win the other saying loss,

If you give up and do not fight for your dreams,

You will live to regret and have paid a great cost.

Always take time to feel good about yourself,

Realize the kind loving person you are,

At the end of your day you will always look back,

And find the wins out number losses by far!
